One night late at the Artists’ Quarter, Dave Karr and I were chatting about writing
music, and he said, “Someone should write a tune called ‘I got you, you got me...
We’re Swingin’.“ I wrote it on a napkin and stuffed it in my purse. It resurfaced
months later when cleaning out my purse, and I loved it, and with Dave’s help in
conceptualizing the song, it surfaced as it is now. What a treat to have Dave play
on it too!
