When studying with Kurt Elling at Jazz Camp in Port Townsend, he gave us an
assignment to write a tune based on the chord changes of a known tune, which
led to this song with lyrics inspired by Kurt and Nancy King that week. It was one
of the first songs in this series of compositions. Can you guess the original tune from
